Newmarket’s Moët & Chandon July Festival is set to be the latest behind-closed-doors summer event to offer enhanced live weather data to horsemen, media and stay-at-home racing fans.

Ascot is to become the first racecourse in the UK to publish live weather data via an innovative new App developed by Cambridgeshire-based Technology company, TurfTrax.

In addition to the penetrometer, which remains the reference tool, France Galop is now offering a much greater range of information regarding the going in flat pattern races.

WeatherTrax Live, British racing’s most popular live weather data system, is set to make its Epsom Downs debut at the world’s most prestigious Flat race meeting, the Cazoo Derby Festival which begins on Friday, 4 June.

The roll-out of live weather data at major race meetings in Great Britain continues next week with WeatherTrax Live set to debut at Aintree’s three-day Randox Grand National Festival beginning on Thursday, 8 April.
